Who can take part in this study?

In order to be eligible to participate in the study, you must meet all of the following:

  • You are aged 18 - 65 years old 
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic plaque-type psoriasis at least 6 months prior to taking part in the study.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 - 40 kg/m2, and you weigh at least 55 kg.
  • You have moderate to severe disease that affects at least 10% of your body surface (1% is equivalent to the size of your palm).
  • You have at least one psoriatic lesion that is a minimum size of 10cm2 (approximately the size of the below image).

  • You have failed to respond to or are intolerant to at least one topical therapy for psoriasis.

Who is unable to take part in this study?

Unfortunately, if you meet any of the following, this study is not the right fit for you:

  • Anyone who has current forms of psoriasis other than chronic plaque-type, (e.g. Psoriatic arthritis).
  • Anyone who has eczema or other types of skin diseases

How long will the study take?

If you agree to take part, and the study is suitable for you, your participation in the study is expected to last up to 98 days. This includes:

  • Screening period of approximately 14 to 42 days 
  • Treatment period of 28 days
  • 7 study visits to the clinic

What is Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a common, inflammatory disease, primarily manifesting in the skin. It tends to go through cycles, flaring for a few weeks or months, then subsiding for a while or going into remission. This condition causes red, itchy scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp.Treatments are available to help manage the symptoms and lifestyle changes and coping strategies can also be effective in improving therapeutic outcomes.
